Kandi (Wieberg) Spraggs earned a bachelor of science degree in 2008 and a master of science degree in 2010, both in civil engineering. She was a four-year starter on the softball team and served as a student coach for two years. One of the first softball players in team history to earn All-American honors, Spraggs was inducted into the Great Lakes Valley Conference Hall of Fame in 2013 and into the Missouri S&T Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.
In 2010, she joined TranSystems in St. Louis as a bridge engineer. After seven years, she accepted a position with the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis as the manager of structures. She later returned to TranSystems and is now a project manager of various transportation projects. Spraggs is an active member of several professional societies including AREMA and TEAM, and she participated in the Future Leadership Academy with ACEC of Missouri in 2021. She is also the vice president of the Railway Club of St. Louis.
Spraggs and her husband, Kyle, have two children, Addilyn and Chase, and she has fun volunteering as coach of their softball, baseball, and basketball teams.
